So what's a recommended replacement sound/voice recorder for phones with HTC Sense UI stripped out? Or How can it be reinstalled?

I tried to make back ups and reinstall, it fails. If I copy the files back, there are no links to the app..

I need something simple that can record and play back memos that doesn't have a record limit.
