No router should be using WEP. It's much too easily cracked... Now they also proved that WPA1 is fairly easily cracked, but WPA2 is not so easily cracked, assuming your passkey is fairly long/complex.
The problem with WEP is with a packet injection tool, you can figure out the key in less than a minute with even paltry hardware specs. It is an old protocol, and you should honestly NOT use it. You may as well just run an open network, literally.
