Re: Why one might sell their Mogul for a "normal" phone.

Patience. I feel your pain OP - and I can relate. While I like to hack & tweak most things - I mainly do it out of necessity because the "out of the box" device isn't fully configureable enough - or has features I want locked out. THAT is frustrating to me. Fortunately - or unfortunately, depending how you look at it - phones like the 6800 (and for me, prior to it - the Razr) - we've got the ability to set our phones up as close to our liking as possible.

Yes, its frustrating, because many times - things don't work the first time you try to implement something. Maybe you can never get it to work. Who knows.

So - i say - Apple is on to a good thing here as much as I hate to admit it. Their iPods are pretty darn solid device's. Hell - their pc's are actually temping me to cross over from Windows now. And, as for the iPhone - I only have this device because it was cheaper than an iPhone - and I'm not ready to buy the 1st generation of iPhone. As soon as they release an iPhone with a slide out or fold open keyboard, GPS, and more memory - then yep - I'll take one in a heartbeat. For the most part - they DO work - as designed and they are INTUITIVE as heck.
