Just got the replacement phone, Droid 1
It came with FroYo FRG22D as well.
This replacement phone is definitely used. Under the screen you can clearly see wear marks from sliding the keyboard. The power button also does not work correctly, so I'm having them send another replacement. Here's hoping it'll be a D2, but I doubt it.

I will let you all know what I actually receive, though I fear it will be the A855 Droid 1. VZW sent me an e-mail stating such.

If anyone is planning on doing the same, I told them the 2.2 Froyo update caused my phone to no longer charge. This did happen when I attempted to root the official OTA update with EasyRoot. It appears to happen to quite a few people according to the VZW local store rep I spoke to. It is unclear whether they were attempting to root and messed up or if it's just a glitch in the OTA update. I suspect the latter. |
