which is the core problem. Because your ok with it me and others get STUCK with it. Precisely when will it stop being ok with you? when they compel another $10 or $20 2 Years from now? when your account is $70 5 years from now?
that's the problem with you. you did not seem to understand what i posted, or for that matter, make me believe that you read my whole post (but do correct me if im wrong). because i clearly stated why it is ok with me. but for the sake of argument....it's ok with me because IT IS BENEFICIAL for me $$$wise still. isn't this one of your main argument from the get go?...that you'll be spending thousands of dollars more in the span of 10 years? so i gave you a perfect example of why it would be ok with me (and others). and 5, 6, 7 years from now....im pretty sure my oldest son will have a part-time job in the mall or somewhere, where he can start paying for the $70/month plan. and if he does not like it, he can find himself something better.
and im pretty sure Sprint will be doing the same thing in the future they are doing now. which is..."hey, we got a new plan OPTION for your current plan. it's so and so more...but we're gonna give you these such and such in return." you make it sound like Sprint is not giving customers anything in return at all for the $10.
When does it become NOT ok with you?
a cell phone is a luxury in life. i don't have to let it get to that point by staying with what i currently have. hell, i had the free incoming plan for a number of years and if i didn't want to get the latest and greatest phone at that time, i could've stayed with that plan. it was a $30/month increase for me coming out of that plan. but guess what?...i was ok with upping my plan because when i went to the ED plan, it included all the things that i wanted but had to pay separately for each under my old plan. and getting those add-ons that is alerady included in the ED plan added separately under my old free incoming plan....we're not talking chump change there. i would've spent way more than $70/month. so i got smart and saved myself $10-$20 by getting the plan that already had all of those add-ons. and the clincher....was the anytime any mobile. 99% of the numbers i call were cell phones. so again...just because you have that type of mindset....does not mean that everyone will agree with it. because it might not work for you....but it works great for others.
so again...as long as i see some benefit in it for me, i don't mind paying extra.
