There is some interesting reading about CHT over at XDA on the forthcoming v 2.0 release. First, and foremost, it looks to be in beta testing now, but I wouldn't expect a full release for a few weeks unless testing goes extremely well. V 2.0 also looks to be much more customizable and the first version to support 3rd party widgets and to more easily support skinning/theming. In terms of the customization, I'm wag'ing in terms of some things I've seen, but we may get individual quick link placement, like MaxSense, anywhere on the home tab. I'll be surprised, and disappointed, if we don't see an RSS widget to support the RSS capability in 2018. I also suspect will see an improved task capability. In short, looks like sometime in September will be a very good month for CHT users.

Finally, I will try to update the 2018 roms with the latest fixes/improvements just prior to the CHT v 2.0 release so everybody has the "latest & greatest". The only glitch may be the last few days of Sept. and the first few days of Oct. when I'll be mostly unavailable.
