The quotes I heard from HTC and here is, Verizon/Sprit has the power to enable the radio. Also, HTC can too. This makes me believe that it's software, not hardware.

**** IF ***** (for those people who will attempt to flame me) it is SOFTWARE, like most people are saying, why has no one found out why ?

How could "hardware" be disabled in software in WIndows Mobile (it's not like Windows) ? I'm not a programmer, this side I don't know.

I wish we had someone on the inside over at HTC...

But, it's a older phone, yes, sprint still has it but, verizon disco'ed it, so it's getting near to the end of it's shelf life.

I don't of the big guys in this area is going to spend time on a older phone, even if there was a chance this could work...
