I may be wrong but I think beananimal meant something else when he was talking about the "notification screen". I get it too, when you are on a call for awhile and pull the phone away from you ear the notification screen showing ur data connection and stuff is there and you have to close it to get to the normal dialpad. It is also there when you hang up, making it impossible to hang up from a call using the onscreen end key unless you close out of the notification page first.
