Do you think there is any way I can uncook the HTC scroll package (I don't really know what the scroll package entails) with HTCRIE? I've used that to remove bloatware from other ROMs but yours didn't really have any.

Thanks again for the response.
That's completely up to you. I've looked in the package and all there is, is a dll and some regedits having to do with panning, friction, velocity, and flicking. I also found out that HTCScroll was not included in our Diamonds, so that may be some evidence that eliminating this might get you to that D-Pad Manila 2.1 behavior. Again though, there may be a trade off in behaviors, both of which you might like.
