The D-pad issue is not specific to a program. It is system-wide. If we have to pick a program then I'd have to pick the OS....because it is consistently faulty in every program.

Flash to another ROM and the D-pad works as it should.

But to be more specific, I rarely get a response from my phone when I press Up. I never get a response when I press Enter. It is funny, I have a touch phone, but never realized how often I use the hardware buttons.

It has to be a driver issue (using terms from extensive desktop OS troubleshooting experience).......maybe driver isn't the right word, but there is something in this ROM that is responsible for the problem.

Don't know what I did with the post. Have tried the d-pad on the rom I am running and had some issues with pressing up. Adjusted how I press it and it consistently works to go up on the start menu. Will try the titanium rom if u continue to have problems. I think one way or the other the d-pad on the diamond has a poor design. Think at least in my case it is the up key surface being narrow that is giving me grief.
