The flashing limits i've seen are around 1000. I'm probably at about 20 for this particular handset. I've had my Diamond replaced a few times.
The D-pad issue is not specific to a program. It is system-wide. If we have to pick a program then I'd have to pick the OS....because it is consistently faulty in every program.
Flash to another ROM and the D-pad works as it should.
But to be more specific, I rarely get a response from my phone when I press Up. I never get a response when I press Enter. It is funny, I have a touch phone, but never realized how often I use the hardware buttons.
It has to be a driver issue (using terms from extensive desktop OS troubleshooting experience).......maybe driver isn't the right word, but there is something in this ROM that is responsible for the problem.
