Whatever. Brick or no brick, it sure seems like if the hardware is identical, as stated, that a ROM of either flavor would work to the point of at least getting through boot up. I mean if the only difference is the antenna then it should boot up with either ROM and then possibly not make calls due to the antenna. It not being able to take a GSM ROM tells me there is something hardware related that is in the way.
