What is true ????
In this thread, it's quoted from HTC that is said that it's software disabled by choice of the carrier (and followed up a few times through out the thread), it just needs a rom update to be enabled (PRL ?), so hardware is there, just not enabled software wise.
So, the question comes up, now with it legal to jailbreak a phone, that is now not carried by any provider (Vwz and sprint, disco'ed), wouldn't it be ok/legal for HTC to release a un-supported rom update to enable this ?
Just makes me wonder why the experts never found out how to enable this though but, it might come down to needing the source code to enable it....
