1) The "notifications" screen is driving me insane when in a call. I don't EVER want to see the damned thing (be it Winmo or HTC skinned), especially every time I pull the phone away from my ear. I don't need to know that my data connection was dropped due to a voice call or that I have new emails or voicemails, that is what the icons on the tabs and home pages are for.
2) Looking for a way to prevent pocket dialing and answering WITHOUT having to manually lock the phone every time I put it in my pocket. I have tried Pocket Shield, but is is getting more quirky with each release and refuses to work properly with the BT in-dash and headsets.
Before any of you tell me to read the threads or use the "search" you need to realize the volume of posts regarding these subjects and the amount (thousdands of pages) of useless babble that surround the relevant details regarding the ROMs and their features and updates. No reasonable person has the time to read 30,000 or more posts to find basic answers, we are not all hardcore phone geeks. Some of us are just looking to improve the usability of our devices.
So... can anybody get me in the right direction?

I don't know of a change log to compare line by line, but keep in mind MM and X are close friends, so there are not huge differences, i.e. both stable as all hell, lol. stupid question, but have you turned off notifications for e-mails, etc? I don't get them on mine, just vibrate or audio notification that I rcvd some, along with the taskbar notification. Same for text. As far as data disconnect, don't know other than also check your notifications, I don't get that when I get a phone call either. And as far as pocket dialing without locking the phone, can't help you there. I have a holster I use, just hang up, turn off screen if I remember to, put it into my seidio holster and never ass dial or answer. Don't have a recommendation for you on that, sorry. Maybe one of the other users will have some recommendations.
