Memory typically will start off around mid 60's and slowly creep up to high 70's or low 80's but keep in mind a lot of this is just things being cached and will be deleted as needed. I honestly can say I don't recall there being a slowdown or lag because of memory usage, and i've had a ton of apps running at once. I believe I had one issue while streaming sirius playing on WMP and using GPS and wifi sharing so my kids could download some caches on their ipod touches, while I was d/l'ing data for caches too (not to mention weather updates, e-mail for 3 accounts and the typical system crap that goes on behind the scenes), and that would choke up my home pc too, so I don't consider it a big issue.
