Re: Transfer Contacts from WM to Android?

::facepalm::
Google sync for mobile devices isn't something you download. Google came up with a protocol that mimics Exchange Activesync's, so that you would be able to use push Gmail on any device that supports push sync via activesync (WinMo, iPhone, RIM, WebOS, etc). This capability is already built in!

So... if you set up activesync on winMo to use Google sync (by going into activesync on your phone and setting up the server as per the instructions here http://www.google.com/support/mobile...36&topic=14299), you will sync your contacts, calendar, etc with gmail (and get push gmail notifications, sweet!).
Then, when you switch over to Android, log in using the same google account, and viola! WinMo and Droid are in sync, no matter which you use!!

Can't get any simpler...
