The hardware is there, it's been said by HTC on a few of the posts on XDA that the CDMA verson was disabled by the choice of the carriers. It uses the same Blutooth chipset as the GSM version and it has the FM radio built in the chip. It's also been said by a few people that it's been disabled in the bootloader but, no one knows how to find where to turn it on.

If you install the software, it will yell at you that you need to connect headphones, why would it even start up never mind access hardware ?

I guess I have been reading and wishing a little too much on this subject...

I still have hope on this....if anyone can help, please take a second and see what you can give...

I really want it for a few reasons 1. I have a CDMA TP2 and I want it to work 2. sports games that are not played streaming over the internet, only over FM.

Get a new phone if you want it to work.
