Hey there...

First - the semi off topic stuff - I've been following and using Android for about three months now. It is fun and since my girlfriend has a Samsung Moment, I have been able to talik to her about issues / flashing / modding her phone in "her language" and that's REALLY helpful.

As far as daily usage goes, not so much up until about 4 days ago - the devs actually have been struggling with sound but GOT IT!. SO now I have the latest 2.2Froyo build running on my Sprint TP2. No camera, bluetooth, OpenGL, but...Still fun. I originally was OC on it, but...Battery life was not so hot, especially with the battery meter being a workaround and not truly accurate.

All that being said, it's still a really capable build and really lets you see and play with the potential and is a great way to "test drive" Android without the commitment of a whole new handset.

Since the sound's been fixed, I've been able to use it on a regular basis for the last cou0le of days or so.

A couple of caveats:1) There are a couple of threads out there that say this implementation can shorten the life dramatically / kill SD cards, because of all the Read/Writes happening to the card ALL THE TIME. 2) Occasional resets for no reason when an app doesn't do something right... Other than that, it's pretty cool and ups the geek cred a bit. "Oh yeah? well my phone dual boots Android AND WinMo!"

ON topic - Been running Aug25CHT and having good luck with everything. Start up takes a while - seems to have a hard time finding calendar events / appointments and takes about 8 minutes for them to display on Home Screen. Been OCing with Mortscript / OC_ Auto_v4.21.cab and not suffering to bad with battery.

Hmmm. Just got to wondering if booting out of WinMo into Android messes with the calibration of the Battery since they use different methods...I'll look into it and keep tabs on that...

Anyway, thanks to everyone here. Again. You guys keep me coming back for more ...
