One thing I have noticed with some older/other CE ROMS is username and password are required. What happens is the phone dials #777 over and over.
Set username/password
1. START-> SETTINGS-> CONNECTIONS-> CONNECTIONS-> TASK-> Manage existing connections
2. Edit CDMA1X #777
3. NEXT-> NEXT until username/password
4. username: areacodetelephonenumber@mb.telusmobility.com (ie 1235550987@mb.telusmobility.com)
5. password: esndec (ie the number on the phone under the battery)
Going to WM6.1
1. Hard-SPL-240-MFG.exe
2. Titan_Radio_3.27.00.exe
3. Run dcd 2.3.1 Kitchen
4. Wait 5min
5. Dial *22803
6. 1 for english
7. 1 for program codes

WOW! This post has given me some hope again for using a WM6.1 w/ 3.27 radio ROM. A few days ago, I regretfully flashed back to an older ROM and had temporarily given up on all of this until there were further, more positive looking developments. I recall it did infact keep asking me for a username and password, and would redial #777 over and over and over... Also, the information for username and password you provided rings a bell. That phone
number@mb.telusmobility.com looks very familiar. As a matter of fact, I just looked at my current (older style ROM) and in Device Information the "ESN" shows up, as well as "current username" (under "Version" in device settings). I can't say for sure, but I am pretty sure this informatin did NOT show up in my wm6.1 w/ 3.27 radio rom. I am going to try this right now and hope (and think it will) work.
