i don't have a fix, but i have noticed that it hangs up quicker if you use the on screen end key instead of the hard key, though most of the time i instinctively hit the hard key so it always rings once or twice (argh)

seriously i hate this! what i do just so i dont get a call back like "what did you call for" i just pull out the battery.
