As they say, it's only a performance tweak. Most of the roms we already have will run even with this update. I did hear a device is coming out later this year that will have the MSM7x00 chip, with the ATI driver, so that's pretty much our only hope on actually getting something worth it.

All I know is the time it comes around for me to upgrade, I will try to avoid HTC as much as possible. It'll be hard to find a device not made by them, but at least then I won't be supporting HTC directly.
