I use pim backup and all my facebook contacts relink just fine? when I restore with pim, I just go to 1 contact, scroll to updates and event, log into FB, and it automatically links back everyone I had linked before just by relinking the 1.
I hate outlook too so I figured I'd spare you the trouble
