Do you mean that it is a hardware-to-software communication issue? Meaning... a "driver" issue? The hardware is probably fine, I would suspect, especially since it works with Windows Mobile.
However, maybe when you use these buttons in Android, and the signal is sent to the phone to do something, the driver is not handling traffic properly and not communicating correct function; perhaps a certain button press or combination of presses overwhelms a buffer, or some other line of code.
Or, are you saying that the hardware has a problem that doesn't show its face during use with Windows Mobile, and Android uses the hardware in such a way that exploits this issue?
I'm not sure. I'm just interested to see what people's theories are. I think it's so cool that I can use Android on my phone. Windows Mobile suuuucks. Android is much cooler, and I love that I can even use a terminal window if I want!
