ICS not seeing network connection

I've been using Internet Connection Sharing on my TP2 with the stock WM6.1 rom ever since I got the phone last September. The other day I installed the HTC Wifi Sharing app (the one that shows up in the settings and not as a program) off my SD card so my friend could use his Ipad in the car. Today I go to use ICS with my laptop and under the Network Connection tab it shows <none> rather than Verizon Wireless. I'm guessing the HTC Wifi Sharing app changed some setting on my phone which is preventing ICS from using/seeing the connection. I've soft reset, re-installed ICS and uninstalled HTC Wifi Sharing. Everything else works as normal on the phone btw. Any help is much appreciated, I really rely on ICS. Thanks.
