I as well as one of my co-workers is having lockup issues with sms as well. We are both using v10 MaxSense All Carrier provisioned for Verizon. It doesn't seem to matter if there are many messages or no messages in the database. It seems to be reproducable by selecting a message that takes you to the threaded ballon conversation screen & @ the same time sliding open the device to use the keyboard in horizontal mode... the screen will hang & @ the bottom it will say loading message... it also seems to hang maxsense. Sometimes cleanram & restart Sense fixes it & sometimes it doesn't.
On this flash I didn't experience this problem until 4 days after I flashed. I always Task29, then Hard reset "clear ram" before I start using the rom.
This is one of the most stable roms I have used & kudos to TW.
