You can test the idea by cutting a small piece and apply with a small squeege and some water. I have to agree the polarized will help more than the tint, tint will just reduce the ammount of light as an nd filter. The only problem with a pola filter is at certain angles to the sun you might not see any image... Let me know how it works as I am curious also.
