Also I really like HTC, I've been a user since the PPC6700 with every CDMA WM device going forward and even some GSM versions too.
EVO has higher MP on the camera but a crappy sensor..so even if it is 5mp it makes better quality pics then the EVO...the front camera on the EVO does have 1.3mp but for cellphone to cellphone communication it is irrelevant..you wouldn't even notice a difference..

Batteries may be interchangeable but batteries you always are able to get pretty cheap anyways..aside from the bigger ones..but for those you need to buy a new back cover anyways..

Sense UI is so and so...and I wouldn't really consider it a + or a - ...

I assure you the specs of the Epic make the EVO look like its a year or 2 old...

Lastly on subject of HTC..I have used HTC products since ppc6700 as well and used HTC since then..but I don't want to..not cause HTC is bad (despite them never giving us our drivers FML)..but in a closed US market where we are bound by carriers and cellphones we use..we cant lean toward 1 carrier and 1 brand..the more choices we have the better it is for all of us...If sprint for whatever reason doesn't get any decent HTC phone for 5 years..should we stick with 1 phone for 5 years? HTC is one of my ok brands..and this device will be the test for Samsung to go on my "ok" list...I'm not expecting the world from them..but I expect them to live up to at least some sort of standard...If we stick to 1 brand blindly..we are no better then those apple fanboys >.>
