Re: Wanted: Personal Finance for Windows/Android

Take a look at this one: http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.zvasvari.anmoney. I use Quicken 2007 (I know, it is 2010) with several accounts and never cared for the ones within WM land because editing on the device was not allowed once an item was closed out. This application though does allow the import of Quicken files and editing of whatever you choose to edit. I went with the pay version, bypassing the free one. Anyway, it does have an issue with "payees," as it captures data that really is not a payee; otherwise, it works fine. It also works on the card.

I did have Hyper Checkbook installed, but the current release does not work on the Evo and it does not have all of the whistles/bells that this one has. The release the developer recommends on the Evo is a previous release that requires tapping the search button once the program starts up (a bug) and at times it does not want to immediately start up.

Since doing the Evo, I have been keeping up with a HanDBase applet I wrote for this that handles bunches of accounts and Hyper and at the end of the day merging it all with Slacken 2007. Today starts only using AnMoney on the device all by its lonesome. I am not sure I wanna mess to much with merging it with Sicken 2007.
