Most chefs use as low as 8 and as high as 16 on custom ROMs, but remember that's MOST...i play around with pagepool a lot and 12 does seem to be a sweet spot/the best of both worlds, but I would play around with it. running at 24 is lightning fast, and if you aren't a big multi-tasker its probably the best choice
