Not sure if it helps, but I've found Spb Time to be an extremely reliable alarm app for WM over the last five years, even when it's installed to the storage card. Plus, it has far more possible alarms and options than windows or manila.

Just thought it was an interesting option and the CHT being slow discussion was going on earlier in the thread when the 16 shortcut cab came up.

You get the 16 shortcuts on the home screen by swiping up, then you get the page of shortcuts on the next tab, which you can swipe right on the home screen to get to. So it is not far from what you get with CHT.

However, I really miss the notification bar.
Wow, 12 to 15 Megabytes is a huge. I haven't noticed that much difference with Vin's ROM builds. That said, I do realize that CHT has become more of a dog and memory hog in it's latest versions. But that's understandable, due to it including many more options. My main solution for any Sense or CHT lag or low memory issues, has been to install TF3D Switcher, and use Titanium when running multiple heavy apps at the same time. Heck, just switching to Titanium frees up 20 to 25 Megabytes or more of program memory here on Vin's 8.05 build with CHT 1.8.5 cab installed. Plus, with Titanium, my gps guidance TTS works as intended every time, and there's still plenty of program memory to stream music, take pics, shoot vids, and keep a browser as well as business software running at the same time. For lighter normal use, Sense with CHT is my favorite gui, just for it's eye candy factor alone. Nonetheless, it would be great if the TP2 had more program memory, so I could run it and CHT all the time. Regardless, I'm just thankful Vin includes Titanium, so we have the option for less show more go when needed.

As far as lag or overall OS speed concerns go with Sense and CHT, overclocking Vin's latest builds has really helped alleviate the issue here. Heck, even my old TP2, with a manufacturers date of Aug 13, 2009, has had solid stability and performance running SetCpuSpeed @ 748 MHz, with a throttled safe boot up speed of 604 MHz. Plus, now that iwfratz over at xda has released his dynamic overclock tool. It looks like the TP2's performance will only be getting better and better.

Yikes, my apologies for type rambling...

Thanks again Vin! 8.05 is flying along here and making my jailbroken 3Gs feel old and left out, lol... well, except for it's games and knowledge apps..

Best to all,
R
