What you have w/ the latest software is the latest OTA update from Sprint.
For now, Sprint owns you and your phone. You cannot root the latest OTA.
Eventually, hopefully, someone will find a way, but for now you're stuck.
There is no way to reverse it. There is no way to undo it.
