Kinda, yeah. There's just not a wide range of frequencies. I'm clocked at 806 and the next one down from that is like 480. It's more so you can save battery by setting up different profiles.

For instance one of the profiles I set up is for when I turn the screen off. I have it set to where it will underclock and not go higher than I think 320 until I turn the screen back on and it will jump back up to 806. There's other profiles you can set up too like when your phone reaches a certain temp or battery gets down to a certain point you can underclock to save power.

I'm sure someone can explain it better than me but that's the general idea of it lol
