That is weird. I have gotten (basically) the same message before and doing the soft reset allowed me to open it up after.
Have you installed anything major or done any major changes to the REG or anything of that nature as of late?
Maybe (if all else fails), backup everything, hit it with a Wipe, and reflash the ROM that you are using.
