Ever since early July NRG ROMs, my unit goes to 90% memory usage fairly quickly, without anything being installed.
Also, I don't think the argument of Windows clearing caches when memory is low is really the case for me, or it is buggy, as it seems to kill my applications (IE, Opera 9.7, etc) when memory gets up there, rather than clear caches. I've also used SKTools freeRAM, but it only gives 4-5MB and within minutes, it is used up.
Also, when all apps are killed, when memory gets up there, it remains at 85% to 90%, and never gets down to the low 60% which is the startup memory.

I pretty much use my CDMA TP2, with both 21xxx and 23xxx ROMS, to browse the net, and the tweeter HTC tab, weather HTC tab, and within a couple of hours, the memory gets to 90%, at which point apps start getting killed.
It also happens in GSM mode.

Anyone else with issues of this caliber?
I've previously posted about the TP2 memory's problem. My experience is the same as yours, both with 21xxx and 23xxx. On 23xxx, whenever I notice Arkswitch has disappeared, I usually do a soft-reset otherwise things starts to get a bit screwy.

I did some research into this and it appears to be a problem inherent with how the TP2 allocates RAM (only 188 available) and CHT using up a lot of RAM.
