You will need an active cricKet number, most of the epst setting will be based off of your MDN, MIN the SID for your area along with the correct PRL for your area.
Also I don't know if anyone has posted if so here it is again.
As of Aug. 3, 2010 cricKet has new rate plans but along with those new plans come limitations on Customer Provide Equipment smart phones. What that means is if you go to a cricKet store to activate you will only have talk and text. Also if you call in to activate and tell the it's a PDA you will only have the basics.
To avoid this have a dealer activate it and ask for it to be listed as a Samsung R550, after activation ask the dealer to refresh the WAP/MMS to insure there are no problems.
