Depends on your TP2 keyboard. Other than that it wouldn't matter. There is verizon, and then all the other ROMs are the same. So since yours is a VZ TP2, I would go with the VZ ROM as the keyboard layout would be correct off the bat.

@skruff, not sure why it wouldn't connect unless your using another radio other than a vz radio. Also make sure you are following correct flashing procedures to get rid of residual fragments.
