Looking back tho it is the one that might be too large for ya... I had the same exact problem you do looking for any smaller one that worked.. had a few not work at all and 1 kinda work if i moved it right
ended up with a few of these about 6 months ago for my diamond(no 3.5mm built in) now i got a sprint tp2 with the 3.5 built in
so now one is for Backpacking w/ the diamond and the other is my tv-out adapter
And they do work on my diamond and tp2...well not the tv out on diamond
