Okay, I have to post here.
I've run, and re-run, and re-re-re-re-re-run the EXE. I've followed the instructions (including resets) to a "T". And I still, still have messages showing "<user> (#/##):", no year. So now, all new text messages are going above that set of messages.
No, I can't delete the messages. They're being used in court proceedings. So ... help? TP2, stock ROM, WinMo 6.5, restored messages (after replacing HTC Mogul with 2016 bug) via Microsoft MyPhone.
Any help is appreciated, and TIA for everyone else's attention to detail and free help. I don't take it for advantage.
