I also applied the 2.2 leak and I was looking for a fix when the 2.2 final OTA was released. Then I thought about and I asked myself this question "what are you looking to fix?" There's is nothing wrong with my evo after the update. Everything seems to work well and even better than others have reported who have the official update. That's when I realized I don't even need the official release version right now. We will need it in the future to receive future updates though. And you're right, no way htc created the leaked version without a way to revert, someone there had to test it.
