I myself, being a painter, wonders - with that much paint on the phone, you should be safe if you accidentally drop it! The paint will absorb the impact!!
How many mils of paint do you have on there?
Did you know that the paint stores sell elastomeric paint? You'll get better protection if you use elastomeric paint! Once it dries, it will have a rubbery feel to it (slip resistance), plus elastomeric has water blocking properties to it!! Double protection!!!
