the TP2 does not allow you to underclock while it is asleep. we SUSPECT it is allowing us to underclock AFTER the screen goes off but BEFORE the phone goes to sleep. After it is asleep we believe it is going to back to stock 528mhz.

Everyone keeps talking about saving battery - I dont think underclocking and/or overclocking in this case really affect the battery life. We are not changing voltage applied to the CPU (yet ) so should not make much of a difference...
