If you aren't rooted you won't be flashing any rooted roms.

Depending on your situation, assuming you haven't already flashed the OTA that was "leaked" the other day, you should follow a rooting procedure and then be all set to flash the ROOTED version of the update whenever it comes out and someone roots it and puts it up for download.

Just stay away from any OTA updates (unless they are rooted by a chef) or RUU roms. Make sure you know what you are flashing and that it is rooted.
