Glad to see I'm not the only "idiot" that thinks the download process is ridiculous.
I held off loading it to see what others thought. Based on the above thoughts, I may give it a shot tonight. The video is sure put together nicely. I almost wish other chefs put out stuff like that, showcasing the features of their ROM (even though I realize most of what the video showcases is Froyo features, not specific to this ROM).
It's unfortunate that the boot animation includes sound. I don't even like rebooting the stock ROM in a public place because people look at you like you're crazy.
IMO, phone booting should be silent, or especially not a song of any kind. I also mean no disrespect. Just my opinion.
