Re: Froyo 2.2 OTA Rooted For Real

Can I ask a maybe noob question. When you get the "unofficial" Froyo or whichever one OMJ worked with, does it use the JIT compiler? How does that work? Did they just build Froyo around the compiler? I just flashed to OMJ's Froyo. It's a great ROM, but I was just wondering about the compiler. Also, do I just use ROM Manager to update the ROM in case there's an update after the official Froyo release?
