Chrome to Phone (For Froyo) w/ Firefox add-on

This is posted in a Droid forum but I thought, since it's really designed to work with Froyo (2.2), I'll post it here.

Features:
  • Send links to browser
  • Google Maps links launch the Google Maps app.
  • YouTube links launch the YouTube app.
  • Selecting phone numbers in Web pages, launches the dialer with the number pre-populated.
  • Selected text populates the Android clipboard (long-press on text boxes to get paste option).
What I think is great is that some people designed a Firefox add-on that allows you to utilize this feature.

Here is the link to the Firefox add-on called "Send To Phone":

It requires the chrometophone.apk. I'm certain it'll be available in the Market very soon based on what I've read. However, here is a link to the Google Project with a download tab. I would use the .apk posted here as it seems to be upgraded quite frequently.

So basically...you are surfing the net at home and find something you want to send to your phone quickly....try it out.
