Players are a dime a dozen. Since you're asking for help, my personal favorite (because of the alarm feature) is MortPlayer, and it's free.
Here's a link to the cab file for mortplayer 3.31 b69 (RC8.1) which is the latest version.

Or you can try getting the latest HTC Home and using HTC Audio Manager which looks a lot like the iPod menus.

Do what I do. Sign up for a subscription service of your choice, and then purchase MuvAudio (
http://www.muvaudio.com) . It will re-record protected WMA-DRM file as a unprotected MP3 file.
Best thing I ever did was sign up for Yahoo Unlimited at $60/year and buy MuvAudio for $18.
Total of $78 and I've downloaded over 8000 songs.
Yahoo Unlimited is going away and will be taken over by Rhapsody. New price will be $13/month. I'm splitting the cost with a friend, and we'll be taking advantage of my fiber optics 15mb download speeds.
