As an FYI, in case you are not aware, it is possible to leave the SIM card in on a CDMA phone and have Android work. You simply need to set the phone to CDMA only instead of global in Windows Mobile:

Phone->Options->Network->Mode of Operation, set to CDMA Only.

I was going to say, "of course everyone knows, it's in the FAQ." But I went back and looked and it's no longer there. What it said was the you needed to have the SIM card out for the first boot, but this trick would work afterward.

Anyway, I've found that leaving the SIM card in with the phone set to CDMA only the phone won't connect to any network when booting into Android about 30% of the time. Then I have to reboot back into WinMo and reload Android... it's much easier just to leave the card out.
