I finally got speedtest.net to load, and im usually around 1100-1500k download, i only hit around 400k, so maybe there could be something wrong with the network around cleveland, ohio. Thats the only other thing I could think of. Any more help would be appreciated-ill report back tomorrow morning, thanks for the input guys

if it's not the connection in cleveland which is usually pretty good, then i would say that it could be the OS. and if it ain't the OS, then i guess we're gonna have another long day, but figuring this out will take time, but wait a sec... wideawake just recently appointed a new kind of admin who helped him with all the issues with his servers. maybe the answers lie with him.
