As you can see there is no gooseneck which I feel would probably vibrate especially over bumps. There is complete up/down & left /right adjustments to get your phone in the best position possible. Once in place there are two big hand screws which lock it in place. They Evo is held in place at the top left and right and at the middle bottom (this also has the device release).
All in all I am very pleased with it and have no compliants (especially considering it was less than $7 with free shipping
