Re: How Best Buy screwed me Over with my Evo.
I had a similar issue with a TV about a month ago - I asked directly for the store manager - my problem was a conflict between Geek squad and Best Buy - each pointing at the other.
I remained friendly, asked the manager for her name, store number, district office and district manager - I explained I would be writing a long letter to the district manager describing my incident completely - I also told the manager I would prefer a nice letter that might make her look good with corporate.
I spent 1.5 hours in the store but got what I wanted, a simple exchange for a new TV because the old TV (4 months old) would not power on.
Screaming and hollering makes you feel good - but Best Buy is waaaaaay used to that tactic. Being nice, explaining everything up front works for me about 98% of the time whether it be Best Buy or an Airline.
